Retreat

Each year during Fall and Spring the AO group members pack up their bags and head out for a weekend retreat. We take off from the Indian Hills parking lot around 6:00pm Friday afternoon and usually arrive in time for the Sunday evening church service.

Throughout the weekend we come together to study the word of God. After the lessons we break off into small groups to discuss what we just heard and talk about how to apply it in our everyday lives. This is truly a highlight of the weekend!

We ALWAYS have a blast at retreat! Fall retreat is more of an outdoors experience involving things like hikes, playing capture the flag at night, rock climbing, paintball, ziplining, and just hang out and talk.  The location of our fall retreat varies from year to year. In the past we have visited Rivercrest, Moses Merill, and Calvin Crest .  All of our camps are located near Fremont, Nebraska.

Spring retreat is always held at the Aurora Leadership Center. There are lots of things to do like swimming, foosball, ping-pong, basketball, volleyball, fellowship, and so much more!
