The Alpha Omega House

The Alpha Omega House is located on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus and was purchased by Indian Hills Community Church in 1996.  The church completely renovated the building and made it the center of the Indian Hills college ministry.  The upper floors of the Alpha Omega house provide residence for up to 18 men, most of whom are enrolled at the university.  The main floor and basement are used by the ministry throughout the week.

A whole lot more goes on at the Alpha Omega House than just guys living there!  The Alpha Omega house is the location of many of our activities: prayer team on Monday evenings, Outpost groups Tuesday through Thursday, and Bible Study on Friday nights. In addition to the organized events at the Alpha Omega house, college-age men and women frequently just use it to hang out in fellowship. Fellow college aged friends come and watch movies, eat, play pool, foosball, darts, and fellowship.

If you are a young man of college age who attends Indian Hills Community Church or if you live in another state and plan on attending Indian Hills Community Church when you move to Lincoln, Nebraska and are interested in living in the Alpha Omega House you are welcome to fill out an application.   Living in the Alpha Omega House is a great opportunity to get to develop relationships with other college aged young men who have the same God-glorifying goal in life.  Residents can keep each other accountable in their daily walks with the Lord.
